Today we met up with some friends to partake in a “nature build” class at Warner Park. The girls learned about habitats through building forts, wood rat nests, and boats.
While they were busy builders, my friend Alice and I walked a beautiful nature trail. It is always nice to catch a break while the girls do something fun and interesting.
My favorite moment of the day was right before they asked the large group of children to split into three smaller groups. They warned: “If you have a best friend or buddy, you might want to sit next to them now so you don’t get separated.” The girls GRABBED each other and hung on. In fact, they were still hugging after walking outside to the fort building station.
I love these sweet girls!
